Description
Nevzeta is on the taller side for a female Viera, and accents her clear, dark brown complexion and green eyes with just a touch of makeup. Her curly hair is typically kept in a variety of smart, short styles, and is usually dyed in some iteration of dark purple. Her voice is deep and warm, with an indeterminate yet distinctly un-Eorzean accent.She has an athletic build, and the air of someone who can easily defend herself (and easily go on the offensive as well, for those foolish enough to remark on her body). Nevzeta has an affinity for wearing finely made clothing dyed in an array of bright colors. One might see some scarring across her body that suggest she's seen her fair share of combat.
Personality
Curious, organized, direct, opinionated, proud, quixotic, evasive, occasionally acerbic. A strict vegetarian. Dry sense of humor and razor sharp wit. Often the first to lend a hand to those in need. Will not back down from her convictions or suffer fools.Has a tendency to obsess and fixate on whatever interests her most at any given time. Rather socially fluid and can appear sociable at gatherings or on business, but can seem standoffish in more personal settings. Often highly critical of others, often without intending to.
Skills
Proficient in mixed melee combat with light blades of all designs, but specializes in spell-fencing (a similar art to that practiced by red mages). Also a former competitive boxer in her younger years, it would be ill-advised at best to pick a petty fight with her.
Studied the chirurgical arts and sciences at the former Royal University of Rabanastre. Specialized in infectious disease prevention and treatment using primarily non-aetherical methods. Served as a chirurgeon in the Dalmascan Royal Army for several decades.
Though she claims to prefer chirurgical research to direct patient care, Nevzeta is highly proficient and experienced in both clinical and field/combat care.
Conversational in multiple languages. Most fluent in Bozjan, Dalmascan, and Hannish.

General Interest
Simply put, Nevzeta loves swords. Her weapon of choice is the rapier, and she favors lightweight blades, but she's also a bit of a collector who's keenly interested in all sword styles & designs. Weaponsmiths, shopkeepers, and fellow sword enthusiasts are likely to do business with Nevzeta at some point.
Dalmasca & Bozja
Resistance veterans of the Bozjan and Dalmascan fronts, Rabanastrans (especially those who lived in Lowtown during the occupation), and former IVth Legion soldiers may be familiar with Nevzeta, whether as comrade, friend, or enemy.
Nevzeta currently serves the provisionary Dalmascan government, primarily acting as a diplomatic attaché. Anyone in the realm of international diplomacy may have a reason to meet with her.
Lesser known is Nevzeta's status as a bounty hunter for the Rumta-Zaraam, tracking and detaining IVth Legion war criminals still at large. Perhaps you have information she could use, are on your own quest for vengeance or justice, or simply wish to offer your own expertise as a bounty hunter and make some coin by assisting her efforts.
Radz-at-Han & Thavnair
For some years, Nevzeta has intermittently taken up residence in Radz-at-Han, learning the basics of synthesizing & identifying alchemical remedies & poisons. Alchemists with the High Crucible of Al-Kimiya, the Great Work, or in independent operation are welcome contacts.
Sharlayan
Nevzeta worked as a gleaner for a brief time, specializing in the suspiciously specific area "retrieval of Near Eastern relics and artifacts". She did not have a good track record of bringing these back to Sharlayan. Gleaners that worked alongside her might admire her efforts to repatriate her homelands' treasures, or might resent her for stirring up so much trouble among their ranks.
Limsa Lominsa
Nevzeta keeps a modest apartment at the Topmast and stays there nearly as much as she does in Valnain. She often seeks out discreet, swift passage by sailing ship or airship from Limsa to any number of destinations around the star. She's got coin, or is willing to work as a mercenary or even a temporary ship's chirurgeon to pay her way. As long as you don't ask too many questions.

I’m a 30+ year old busy adult that works full time. RP is my fun hobby, let's keep it fun!
I prefer in-game RP over Discord, and need to set aside time for RP in advance (generally weekdays after 5pm PST and anytime on weekends).
This character is on Dynamis DC (Golem) but I'm willing to travel elsewhere.
Writing partners must be 21+ OOC, due to the high potential for mature subjects in RP.
What I find acceptable will vary by situation and by my faith in the intentions of my writing partner. If I find something uncomfortable, I will tell you. Please do the same for me.
I reserve the right to remove my character from any interactions that don’t align with my RP values, and encourage any of my potential writing partners to do the same. You respect my time and energy, I respect yours, we’re cool. I want RP to be a mutually satisfying writing collaboration, and a vehicle to propel each others’ characters forward in fulfilling directions.
Looking For
Travel & adventure. I love a good action scene, whether it includes combat or not.
Emotional nuance & a good sense of humor. I like to have both angst and comedy in my RP (even better when it's possible to artfully combine the two).
Lore flexibility and reasonable headcanons/homebrews that color in the vague outlines of existing FFXIV canon are great, but I prefer to avoid extreme fanon concepts.
Close platonic friendships of all kinds. I especially enjoy RPing with characters that have a strong contrast or even a clash in personality/interests.
Romance is a possibility, but any relationship would have to develop naturally over time. I’m not into pre-planned ships, I prefer natural chemistry between characters and a slow-burn story.
Pre-existing character connections are very welcome with a bit of discussion.
